||
Estate mechanisation changes the specification. A tractor mounted spreader throwing granules 8 to 12 metres across a harvest path needs a heavier particle, or the fines land in the frond stack and the coarse fraction lands under the palm. This 4 to 6 mm grade is pressed at 11 N minimum, so it holds together through a bulk hopper, a spinning disc and a 12 metre flight.
The placement matters more than the rate on oil palm. Granules dropped in the weeding circle around the trunk base sit where the feeder roots are densest, and the humic fraction raises exchange capacity in the sandy Ultisols and drained peat that dominate Sumatran and Kalimantan estates. Applied twice a year, the practical effect reported by estate agronomists is less potassium leaching after the monsoon and a slower decline in leaf magnesium between rounds.

Apply 200 to 400 kg per hectare per year for mature palms, split into two rounds at the start and end of the wet season, broadcast in the weeding circle 1.5 to 2 metres from the trunk. Immature palms from one to three years take 50 to 100 g per palm per round. The grade also suits rubber and coconut estates using the same machinery. Do not blend with urea for mechanical spreading, because the size difference causes segregation in the hopper; use a granular compound with a similar cut instead.
Buyer Guide for Southeast AsiaEstate groups in Indonesia and Malaysia typically buy by the container and split deliveries across divisions, so we print the division code and dosing table on the bag. A 20ft container carries 24 tons of 25 kg bags. We can supply a granule hardness and size report per lot, and a 500 kg sling bag option for estate stores that discharge directly into the spreader.
Packaging & Quality AssurancePacking is 25 kg PP woven bag with PE liner, 500 kg sling bag, or 1 ton jumbo bag with discharge spout. Granules are cooled and screened twice, then sampled for hardness, size distribution and moisture. Retained samples are held for 24 months, and production follows ISO 9001 procedures with an annual third party audit.
