Coastal sand is a difficult place to grow vegetables. It drains in minutes, holds almost no nutrients, and the surface temperature can reach 45 C by mid-morning, which is why growers on the central coast of Vietnam and the Ilocos strip irrigate every second day and still see wilting. The problem is not water supply, it is residence time.
This granule is built to extend residence time. The humate matrix absorbs three to four times its own weight in water and releases it slowly, and because the granule structure survives wetting and drying cycles, it keeps working across a crop cycle rather than collapsing after the first irrigation. Applied at 150 to 300 kg per hectare and incorporated into the top 15 cm, growers typically report extending the irrigation interval by a day in the dry season, which is a real cost saving on pump fuel.

Incorporate 150 to 300 kg per hectare into the top 15 cm before planting, or band 3 to 5 g per planting hole when transplanting. On drip irrigated sandy beds, apply at the start of the season and again at mid cycle if the bed shows rapid drying. The grade suits watermelon, chili, tomato, onion and leafy greens on coastal sand, and also helps establishment of young fruit trees on reclaimed dune land. Always combine with a mulch layer where wind erosion is severe.
Buyer Guide for Southeast AsiaCoastal vegetable cooperatives in Vietnam and the Philippines usually buy through a provincial distributor in 25 kg bags, and increasingly ask for 10 kg bags for small plots. A 20ft container carries 25 tons. We can supply a water absorption test result per lot, and we recommend a small plot trial of 0.2 hectare before a full season commitment, because the response depends heavily on irrigation practice.
Packaging & Quality AssurancePacking is 25 kg PP woven bag with PE liner, 10 kg bag, or 1 ton jumbo bag. Water absorption and granule integrity after five wet and dry cycles are tested per batch, and retained samples are kept for 24 months under ISO 9001 production control.
