Improve soil structure Potassium Humate

1. Product Introduction

Our potassium humate flakes are made from weathered lignite. After screening and crushing, the raw material is thoroughly stirred and reacted with a potassium hydroxide solution. The humic acid and potassium hydroxide react to neutralize, producing water-soluble potassium humate. After the reaction, the product is centrifuged to remove the residue (unreacted raw material impurities) and obtain a potassium humate stock solution. This potassium humate stock solution is then evaporated and concentrated to remove excess water, resulting in a highly concentrated potassium humate slurry. The concentrated slurry is drum-dried to produce potassium humate flakes.

 

Potassium humate flakes have the following main functions:

(1) Improve soil

Improve soil structure: Promote the formation of soil aggregate structure, enhance soil permeability and water and fertilizer retention capacity, and reduce soil erosion.

Activate soil nutrients: Chelate minerals in the soil that are difficult for crops to absorb and convert them into easily absorbed forms, thereby improving nutrient utilization.

(2) Promote crop growth and stress resistance

Stimulate growth and development: Promote crop seed germination and root growth, enhance photosynthesis, accelerate plant growth, and increase yield.

Enhance stress resistance: Improve the ability of crops to resist drought, cold, and pests and diseases, and reduce the impact of extreme environments on crops.

(3) Fertilizer efficiency and environmental protection

Improve fertilizer efficiency: When applied together with nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizers, the unique pore structure of humic acid can prevent the loss of nitrogen sources in the soil and promote the secondary absorption of phosphorus and potassium elements. This improves fertilizer utilization and reduces the amount of chemical fertilizers applied. Used in combination with other chemical fertilizers, it can reduce the amount of chemical fertilizers used and reduce environmental pollution. Adsorption and purification function: The unique pore structure of humic acid can absorb harmful substances such as heavy metal ions and pesticide residues in the soil, reducing their harm to crops and the environment.

(4) Improve crop quality

 It can promote the synthesis of cellulose and sugar sources in plants. It can improve the quality of agricultural products, such as increasing the sweetness and color of fruits and improving the taste of vegetables. It can also enhance photosynthesis and promote chlorophyll synthesis.

3. Usage method

(1) Soil base application: Sprinkle potassium humate flakes directly on the soil surface, then plow into the soil (depth of 10-20 cm) to fully mix the flakes with the soil. The dosage is usually 150-450 kg per hectare, which is adjusted according to soil fertility and crop needs.

(2) Topdressing (hole application/furrow application): During the crop growth period, dig holes or furrows around the root system, place the flakes and cover with soil to avoid direct contact with the root system (to prevent local concentration from being too high). Suitable for crops with a long growth period such as fruit trees and vegetables.

(3) Spraying/flushing after dissolution: Dissolve the flakes in water (dilute at a ratio of 1:100-500, depending on the concentration), make a solution and spray on the leaves (spray evenly on both sides of the leaves) or flush with irrigation water to quickly replenish nutrients and enhance crop resistance. Stir thoroughly during dissolution to ensure complete dissolution before application to avoid local concentrations that affect crops or cause nozzle clogging.

(4) Fertilizer synergists: Other macronutrient fertilizers can be used in combination at a rate of 5%-10%. Do not use them simultaneously with strongly acidic or calcium-magnesium fertilizers.

 

4. Target crops

(1) Field crops

Wheat, corn, and rice: When applied as base fertilizer or topdressing, it can improve soil aggregate structure, enhance lodging resistance, promote full grains, and increase thousand-grain weight.

Cotton and soybeans: It can promote root development, improve stress resistance (such as drought resistance, disease and pest resistance), help flowering and boll/pod formation, and increase yield.

(2) Cash crops

Fruits and vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, strawberries, citrus, apples, etc.): It can improve fruit quality, increase sweetness and glossiness, reduce deformed fruits, and extend shelf life; in facility cultivation, it can alleviate soil problems caused by continuous cropping obstacles.

Roots and tubers (potatoes, sweet potatoes, radishes, etc.): It can promote the expansion of the underground part, increase starch content, reduce cracking, and improve marketability.

Oil crops (peanuts, rapeseed): It can enhance photosynthesis, promote oil synthesis, and increase oil content.

(3) Other crops

Flowers and seedlings: Promote lush branches and leaves, bright colors, enhance cold and drought resistance, and enhance ornamental value.

Chinese medicinal materials: Improve the quality of medicinal materials, promote the accumulation of effective ingredients, protect root growth, and increase survival rate.

 

Compared with potassium humate granules, this product has the advantage of being filtered through a centrifuge to remove impurities, with almost no water-insoluble matter, and can be 100% water-soluble, which allows for a wider range of uses. In addition, this product uses a scraping process, which has a fast production cycle and high daily output. Therefore, it can be produced immediately according to customer-customized content, and the content can be adjusted widely.
