From January 12 to January 26, a 13-day wheat rooting experiment was carried out. Experimental results indicated that the application of potassium fulvate at a dilution ratio of 1:5,000 yielded the best rooting effects, featuring elongated primary roots and numerous capillary roots, thereby providing the most favorable conditions for subsequent wheat development.
Conduct rooting experiments under identical conditions of environment, seed quantity, and solution volume.
The study primarily investigated: (1) the effects of various dilution ratios of potassium fulvate on rooting; (2) the comparative effects between potassium fulvate and potassium humate; and (3) the impact of adding amino acid metabolites and adjuvants to potassium fulvate. The results indicated that potassium fulvate at low concentrations (5000-fold dilution) achieved the best rooting performance, producing long and vigorous root systems. While potassium humate at 1500-fold dilution resulted in the longest wheat roots, it yielded relatively fewer secondary roots (lateral roots). Furthermore, the efficacy of potassium fulvate solution supplemented with amino acid metabolites and adjuvants was inferior to that of potassium fulvate solution used alone.
Choosing potassium fulvate is beneficial for seed germination and rooting, promoyes the elongation of the main root, increases the number of lateral roots, lays a foundation for the plant's subsequent healthy growth, and helps improve crop yield!
